Chateau Pierre 1er 2020 – Chateau Croix Figeac St. Emillion Gr. Cru

Saint Emillion  Grand Cru slotttet Chateau Croix Figeac blev omdøbt i 2013 og blev Chateau Pierre 1er.

Beliggende omkring 40 kilometer (25 miles) øst for Bordeaux, blomstrer Saint-Émilions vinstokke på et uendeligt nuanceret terroir. Ved hjælp af innovative teknikker sammen med århundreder gamle traditioner fremstiller vinbønderne i Lussac Saint-Émilion, Puisseguin Saint-Émilion, Saint-Émilion og Saint-Émilion Grand Cru vine, der er fyldt med følelser. Med deres rubinfarve og elegante buketter er Saint-Émilion appellationernes vine lange, velafbalancerede og silkebløde i ganen.

 This is a solid red with lots of blackberry, crushed-stone, pine-needle and iron character. It’s full-bodied with layers of ripe, chewy tannins that are polished and poised. Extremely well crafted. A top wine from here.  (5/2021)
