Probably From Speyside’s Finest Distillery…
Extraordinary and Ridiculously Rare.
Distilled November 1986, bottled October 2017, from one Sherry Butt – DL12232 Natural Cask Strength, Natural Colour – No Chill Filtration.
Official notes from Douglas Laing:
Opens with strawberry tarts, porridge with honey plus chocolate, hazelnuts and dates. The palate shows peppery oak with toffee apples, dried fruits and a mocha quality, and the fruity finish has a rich, allspice character with toasted nuts and warm fruitcake.
